NiH33 Raney Nickel Hydrogen Electrode with PTFE Layer (GAS-82021)

OVERVIEW

NiH33 is a Raney-nickel hydrogen electrode equipped with a PTFE layer that is impermeable to aqueous electrolytes. It is suitable for hydrogen consumption (HOR), hydrogen evolution (HER) and oxygen evolution (OER), as well as alkaline fuel cells and alkaline electrolysis.

The electrode is supplied as one 10 cm × 10 cm piece. No activation is required for HER or OER. For HOR, the electrode must be activated for 24 hours at 50°C in a hydrogen stream before use.
